The Managing Director of FDDI, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sinha attended the 4th edition of Bangladesh Leather Footwear & Leathergoods International Sourcing Show (BLLISS) which was held from 12th to 14th October, 2023.
BLLISS-2023 was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Hasina, MP, Prime Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh at a special inauguration event on 12th October, 2023 at Bangabandhu International Convention Center (BICC), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
BLLISS-2023 had on display some of the best Leather Footwear, Leather goods and Accessories produced by leading manufacturers & exporters from Bangladesh. It included latest collection of Men’s, Women’s, Children’s Leather Footwear, Leather goods; from Bags to Wallets and a wide range of Accessories including Belts & Gloves.
The fair offered one-stop sourcing options as it was helpful to establish business relations with some of the leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs) and Original Brand Manufacturer (OBMs) from this fast-growing production hub. It also helped to discover new, trendy collections and meet energetic and enthusiastic suppliers.
There were some breakout sessions also organized during BLLISS-2023 which provided valuable insights and information regarding the sector through creating dialogue amongst industry leaders and stakeholders. The BLLISS-2023 fair created the opportunity to meet the premium leather goods and footwear manufacturers of Bangladesh under one roof. Key decision makers of international brands also attended the fair, thus creating ample opportunities for networking and business development.
BLLISS-2023 also provided a platform for FDDI to facilitate prospects in the industry and create opportunities for collaborations and partnerships within the sector. Apart from it FDDI also had active discussion with other participants coming from different countries and tried to explore where FDDI can collaborate with them like online Expert lectures, consultancy, curriculum development etc.
