On 03rd January 2024, Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED), FDDI, Jodhpur campus had a courtesy meeting with the Hon'ble Governor of Rajasthan, Mr. Kalraj Mishra at Rajbhawan, Jaipur.
During the meeting, ED- FDDI, Jodhpur campus briefed about the various skill based programmes being conducted by FDDI through School of Footwear Design & Production (FDP), School of Fashion Design (FD), and School of Retail and Fashion Merchandise (RFM).
The activities undertaken by FDDI were also briefed to him where the information about the growth of the Indian footwear & leather products industry, the technological advancement taking place in the industry and how FDDI is contributing in the growth path of the footwear & leather products industry was conveyed.
ED- FDDI, Jodhpur campus also briefed about the ‘Centre of Excellence’ established in the campus having specialized centre for Orthotics & Prosthetics as well as for safety shoes designed for the industrial purpose.
The Hon'ble Governor appreciated the efforts and achievements being undertaken by FDDI Jodhpur in the area of education, research and development.
