In order to provide adequate information about the required skills and knowledge needed for starting and running the enterprise, a seminar on Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) was conducted at FDDI, Kolkata campus on 13th September 2023.
During the seminar, Mr. Aniket Gupta, Founder of the renowned start-up company, Padukey, shared his experiences which he faced during the establishment of his business. He briefed about the project planning, feasibility analysis, Start-up culture, sources of finance, Banking and Company law & others.
Besides this, on 14th September 2023, the students under the industrial exposure visited Ajanta Shoe’s (India) Pvt. Ltd. Where Mr. Sandeep Kumar Maurya, GM-Manufacturing & Technical briefed the students about the entire functioning of the organization including various manufacturing process of PVC & EVA, Rubber compounding, PVC Injection, PU poring, Printing and different type of materials, manufacturing process and testing that gave the exposure to the students.
The seminar on EDP which was attended by 43 students and industrial exposure for the group of 20 students at Ajanta Shoe’s (India) Pvt. Ltd., was organized by the School of Footwear Design & Production (FDP).
