In order to cater the creative minds of School of Footwear Design & Production (FDP) and to make them abreast with the practical side of their coursework, the students of 2022 batch of FDDI, Kolkata campus & students of FDDI Patna, campus of Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Training Program were taken for industrial visit at Nirwan International Pvt. Ltd., & Excellent Footwear Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata.
Entrepreneur & Skill Development Programme is being conducted for training of 47 participants at FDDI Patna campus under Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojna, Department of Industry, Govt. of Bihar.
During the visit at Nirwan International Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Amit Nirwan-Director briefed about the entire functioning of the organization including various manufacturing process of PVC, PU and Leather sandals- for both men and women, and different type of materials.
During the visit at Excellent Footwear Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vishal Magan-Director briefed about the entire functioning of the organization including various manufacturing process of both stock on and handmade shoes and sandals in PVC, PU and Leather – for both men and women, packaging standard and different type of materials uses for shoe manufacturing.
These exposures were coordinated by the School FDP under the guidance of highly experienced Faculty of FDDI, Kolkata wherein the students gained knowledge about the manufacturing aspects and also about the retail operations.
