Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Managing Director (MD), FDDI attended the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) - National Export Excellent Awards presentation ceremony of Leather & Footwear Industry 2022-23 which was held on 10th January 2024 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.
Mr. Rajeev Singh Thakur, IAS, Additional Secretary (AS), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Govt. of India (GoI), was the Chief Guest who presented the Awards.
On this occasion, Mr. Sanjay Leekha, Chairman - CLE, Mr. Rajendra K. Jalan, Vice-Chairman - CLE, Mr. R. Selvam, IAS, Executive Director – CLE, Mr. Mukhtarul Amin, Chairman, Super House Ltd., Mr. Motilal Sethi, President, Indian Leather Garments Association (ILGA)and other doyens of the Leather & Footwear Industry were present.
Representing FDDI, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, MD, FDDI and Mr. PSA Deepak, Assistant Manager attended this significant ceremony.
The Awards were presented for Exports Excellence in various categories to the manufacturer-exporters of Leather & Footwear Industry, to the women entrepreneurs and for the Brand Creation.
CLE, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, organizes the National Export Excellence Award ceremony annually to recognize and honour the top performers in the export of trade of leather, leather products and footwear.
