‘Hindi Pakhwara’ Held at FDDI Campuses

In order to promote the knowledge and skills in use of official language – Hindi among the faculty, staff and the students in consonance with the policy of Government of India, Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) organized various competitions during the ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ held from 14-28, September, 2017 at its campuses.

Circular regarding ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ celebrations was circulated to all campuses of FDDI on 12th September 2017.

During the ‘Hindi Pakhwara’, six competitions were held out of which four were for the staff and two for the student community of FDDI that witnessed the oratory, logical skills and the literary acumen of the faculty, staff and students in Hindi.

It was on September 14, 1949 when the Constitution makers of the country decided to accord the status of Official Language of the Union to Hindi. To commemorate the historic occasion, Hindi Diwas is observed every year this day.

In the present era of globalization and urbanization, the relevance of Hindi as our national language has been deteriorating day-by-day & the FDDI understanding it as its moral responsibility is trying its level best to bring back the respect and gratitude of Hindi.
