Insightful session held at FDDI, Jodhpur campus on 73rd Constitution Day

By organizing an insightful session, FDDI, Jodhpur campus celebrated the 73rd Constitution Day on 26th November 2023.

Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED), FDDI, Jodhpur campus in his ‘Welcome Address’, said that, “The Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949 which is also known as 'Samvidhan Divas'. It came into force on January 26, 1950, making the beginning of a new era in the history of the Indian Republic, a day celebrated as Republic Day ever since.”

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 19th November, 2015, notified the decision of the Government of India to celebrate 26th November as 'Constitution Day'.

During the session, Mr. Kishan Singh Yadav, Central Government Senior Standing Counsel (CAT) shared his views on the theme i.e., ‘India - Mother of Democracy’. He explained the importance of the Indian Constitution and emphasized on implementing its usefulness at the grassroots level. He appealed to implement one’s rights and above all one’s duties properly.
