ENGAGEMENT OF EXPERIENCED HUMAN RESOURCE, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL
 

FDDI is an Institute of National Importance under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It was established in the year 1986 and is a premier organization serving as a ‘One Stop Solution Provider’ for the various problems faced by the Footwear and Leather Industry. It has a vision to become a leading hub of Footwear, Leather Goods, Retail & Manufacturing of lifestyle products. FDDI aims to establish a symbiotic system which promotes design, development, production & support service system for the India Leather Industry, and to emerge as a centre of excellence in providing consultancy to the International and domestic clients/Industry.

 

FDDI is a leading institution of the country, in its core area of expertise and has certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025. FDDI has had accreditations / tie-ups from the leading international organizations like SATRA- UK, DAKKS Germany and premier Management and Fashion Design Institutes, which equips students to learn in a global environment. With an aim to put India on the global map, FDDI is a pioneer institute that works for the benefit of the Indian Footwear / Leather Industry as a whole. Currently the Institute has 12 campuses located across the country.

The Institute invites applications from talented and experienced senior professionals for the following posts, on a consultancy contract basis for following categories:

 

1. HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT / ADVISOR


2. FINANCIAL CONSULTANT / ADVISOR


3. TECHNICAL CONSULTANT / ADVISOR


 

Terms:
Duration - for an initial period of 11 months (extendable at discretion of management)


1. HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT / ADVISOR

 

Assignments:
 To oversee and guide in the overall functioning of HR Department of all campuses.


 He / She shall formulate and implement policy and rules for regulating the Recruitment in FDDI keeping in view the present requirement of FDDI for skilled / semi-skilled manpower.


 Based on the requirement of FDDI on future growth and development he / she shall also analyze existing guidelines and practices regulating the service conditions of its employees and formulate and implement various systems and procedures for regulation of service conditions of its employees viz: Promotions, Conduct of the employees, Salary and Pay fixation, Allowances & Benefits, Service Rules etc.


 Any other role to be assigned by the management of FDDI.


Educational Qualifications:


He / She should have 02 years full time Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Personnel Management or its equivalent.


Experience:


At least 15 years of experience in handling Human Resources Management / Personnel Management function in a Government / CPSE / Autonomous Government Body out of which 02 years should be in a senior level position handling the overall aforesaid functions. The candidate should have strong communication skills (written and oral). Computer proficiency in MS Office and Management information System (MIS) and latest HR software shall be an added advantage.


Remuneration: Negotiable


Age Limit: Minimum 45 years and Maximum 65 years of Age as on 31.10.2017

 

2. FINANCIAL CONSULTANT / ADVISOR


Assignments:
 To act as advisor to improve financial health of the Institute.


 To oversee the Accounts department of all the Institutes and guide them for smooth functioning and better accounts management.


 Oversee all financial planning of the Institutes as a whole and guide in accounting practices being followed in all Institutes.


 To assist the auditor in auditing of books of accounts of the Institute.


 Any other role to be assigned by the management of FDDI.


Educational Qualifications:


He / She should be a Chartered Accountant. An MBA in finance will be an added advantage.
Experience:


At least 10 years of experience in handling financial planning and management function in a Government / CPSE / Autonomous Government Body out of which 02 years should be in a senior level position handling the overall aforesaid functions. Experience in educational Institutes shall be preferred. The candidate should have strong communication skills (written and oral). Computer proficiency in MS Office, Management information System (MIS), Tally and latest Accounting Softwares shall be an added advantage.

3. TECHNICAL CONSULTANT / ADVISOR


Assignments:
 Based on the requirements of FDDI, he/she shall analyze the existing academic set-up of Technical Departments- Footwear Technology/Leather Goods/CAD-CAM, Retail & Fashion and propose for refining the systems and procedures on various aspects such as Course Nomenclature, Program features, admissions, intake capacity, faculty-student strength ratio, grading systems, placement norms, admission norms, cross learning models amongst Institutes, faculty development programs, overall programme management etc.


 To oversee and guide the specified Technical Departments across all Institutes in their effective functioning.


 To analyze overall requirements of all technical departments operational across all Institutes/centers and provide technical guidance, standards for operationalizing the technical approaches and programs in alignment with the requirements of the Global Industry, statutory bodies governing impart of education and in accordance with the procedures and guidelines laid down by the Government of India and the controlling Ministry to ensure design of robust educational framework.


 Assist in planning, mainstreaming and scaling up of evidence-based practices for effective education management across all FDDI Institutes and Centers. This shall include guidance in developing industry specific curriculum and educational framework for running various academic programs.


 Shall also suggest for external engagement and strategic partnerships (such as national and international consultancy programs) for advocacy, policy influence and resource development in the education sector.


 Any other role to be assigned by the management of FDDI.

 

Educational Qualifications:

 

He / She should have 02 years full time Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Technical field of Design (Leather/Footwear) /Retail / Fashion/ allied technical fields or equivalent. Ph.D in relevant stream will be an added advantage.


Experience:


At least 15 years of experience in handling Academics/ Educational Programmes in a reputed Educational Institutes/ Government Universities, out of which 02 years should be in a senior level position handling the overall aforesaid functions. The candidate should have strong technical writing skills, communication skills (written and oral). Computer proficiency in MS Office and Management information System (MIS) and other latest technical software related to the field shall be an added advantage.


Remuneration: Negotiable


Age Limit: Minimum 45 years and Maximum 65 years of Age as on 31.10.2017.
