On 02nd December 2023, FDDI, Patna has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT), Muzaffarpur for institutional collaboration in education, research outreach programmes, student exchange programme, faculty exchange and many more.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to promote teaching and research collaboration involving faculty members and students of FDDI Patna and MIT Muzaffarpur to ensure teaching and research of highest standard, carry out joint academic and research programmes, as well as collaborative research projects.
The signing ceremony took place at the FDDI Patna campus and was attended by prominent figures from both the institutions. The MoU was signed by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra - Center Incharge, FDDI Patna and Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Jha, Principal, MIT, Muzaffarpur, in the esteemed presence of Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Managing Director (MD), FDDI and other faculty members and officials.
The MoU would also facilitate the exchange of students, scholars, and faculty in the common subjects of both the institute. Both the institutes have agreed to participate and jointly organize international conference, meetings, submit research proposals and provide training to students and scholars.
Divulging the details, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, MD-FDDI said, “The MoU between FDDI Patna and MIT Muzaffarpur will facilitate cooperation between both the Institutes that eventually will promote professional growth in design and management, besides promoting cross disciplinary learning.”
Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Jha remarked this occasion to be historic as it opens up a whole new vista of opportunities for both the institutes. In this era of exponential development, opportunities such as these are the stairs that can elevate the overall quality of education within our country and subsequently provide students with better opportunities.
