Seminar on ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ held at FDDI, Jodhpur campus

Seminar on ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ was held at FDDI, Jodhpur campus on 12th January 2024, in which all the officers, employees as well as the students participated enthusiastically.

The main objective of this seminar was to understand the current increasing cybercrimes and the possible threats arising from it.

Dr. Arjun Choudhary, Assistant Professor, Sardar Patel Police University (SPPU), Jodhpur, an expert in cyber security briefed about the online security best practices, taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity at home and workplace. Detailed discussion and guidance on emerging trends in security, and some practical tips to avoid cyber threats were also provided by him.

He also told that by dialing the number 1930, any complaint about cybercrime can be lodged so that the fraud done to someone can be resolved as soon as possible.

Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED), FDDI, Jodhpur campus, stated, “In the contemporary scenario, cyber-crime is a growing trend with advancement of technology and the need of the hour is to generate sustained awareness among the officers, employees and students of FDDI for safeguarding of computer systems and networks against data leakage, theft, or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data”.
