On 29th October 2022, Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Hyderabad campus held its 2nd Convocation ceremony at Shilpakala Vedika, Shilparamam, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad for 159 students who cleared their respective Programmes in the year 2022.
The event was graced by Mr. Rajeev Singh Thakur, IAS, Additional Secretary (AS), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India (GoI) as the Chief Guest where as Ms. Jyoti Yadav, IAS, Deputy Secretary, Department of Commerce, GoI and Mr. Binod Kumar, Deputy Secretary, DPIIT, GoI were the Guest of Honour.
On this occasion, Mr. Arun Kumar Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, FDDI and an alumni of the institute, Mr. Mohd. Yunus, Owner - East West Tanners & Proprietor - Lee Craft India were also present.
On behalf of FDDI, Campus In-charge, Mr. Deepak Chaudhary, welcomed the Chief Guest and all the delegates, the graduating students during which the staff & students were also present.
In his ‘Keynote Address’, Mr. Rajeev Singh Thakur, IAS, AS, DPIIT, GoI motivated the students to not to forget their value systems, work ethics and humanity and be exemplary in whatever one choose to do in one’s professional life and bring glory not only to yourself, to your family, but to this prestigious Institute and the nation.
