In order to prevent cyber-crimes and to generate sustained awareness among public, especially among the vulnerable sections and groups on 'Cyber Hygine', a cyber awareness workshop was conducted at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), NOIDA campus to observe ‘Cyber Jaagrookta (Awareness) Diwas (CJD)’ on 4th May 2022. All other 11 campuses of FDDI joined the workshop online from the Digital Classroom at their respective campuses.
The workshop session was conducted by Mr. Dharmendra Jaiswal, Manager, Information Technology Services Center (ITSC), FDDI.
During the session, Mr. Dharmendra, creating awareness about cybersecurity, briefed about the online security best practices, taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity and also elucidated on various topics which included phishing, spamming, sharing information, and recognizing warning signs for stopping the siphoning off of the funds by fraudsters.
