Award distribution ceremony for ‘Cultural and Sports Week’ competitions was held at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), NOIDA on 12th April 2022.
To promote and support cultural, social and sportive activities of the students of FDDI, ‘Cultural and Sports Week’ was held from 07th March to 11th March 2022 which provided a unique platform for the students to give expression to their interest and showcase their immense talents in non-academic fields.
Around 260 students participated in the Cultural event where different types of competitions were held like Fashion Film Contest, Short Movie Making, Graphic Designing, Debate Competition, Fire Free Cooking, Artistic Dumpster which is Waste Material Display, Drama Competition, Quiz, Dance Competition, Music Competition, Face Painting Competition and Treasure Hunt. There was a total of 81 winners who were awarded. The winners and event coordinators got certificates as well.
During the sports events, around 173 students participated in different competitions held in sports categories like Badminton (Female and Male), Tug-of-War (Female and Male), Basketball (Female and Male), Table Tennis, Futsal, Cricket, Carrom and Volleyball.
The students of all the batches participated enthusiastically in all the competitions which brought out brilliant creativity & aptly revealed their hidden talents from the highly talented young participants.
Excitement and enthusiasm marked the award ceremony during which a total of 55 winners were awarded. The winners, coordinators, and participants got certificates as well.
On this occasion, all the Sports and Cultural Committee members and staff, students of all departments were present.
