In an effort to have a firm foot and to explore collaborations opportunities with the industry, Footwear & Design Development Institute (FDDI), Chennai is doing its level best.
In this regard, on 17th October 2022, Mrs. T Uma, IFS, Executive Director, FDDI Chennai campus met Mr. J Suresh Kumar, Director & Country Manager of Clarks India.
The purpose of her visit was to develop business ties, explore possibilities to seek and offer industrial consultancy in the field of skill development, suitable internship and placement opportunities for the students.
They also discussed in length regarding the possibilities of effective use of latest machineries and equipment’s of FDDI’s Center of Excellence (CoE) at Chennai campus which will strengthen the industry-institute collaboration.
