Mrs. T. Uma, IFS has joined Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chennai campus as ‘Executive Director’ from 26th September 2022.
She is a first woman Divisional Forest Officer of Thiruvananthapuram Forest Division. Before joining with FDDI, she was holding charge as an Officer on Special Duty, United Nations Economic & Social (UNES) Division, Ministry of External Affairs.
She has grand visions and pragmatic ideas about making FDDI, as one of the best international learning centre in the field of Footwear, Leather, Fashion & Retail Management.
