On 14th May 2022, Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chhindwara campus organized an industrial visit for its students at Raymond Ltd., Textile Division, Sausar, Chhindwara.
The students of FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD) were taken on an industrial visit with an objective to provide first-hand information about the production process involved in fabric manufacturing & to acquaint them about the day-to-day workings of various departments.
Raymond Ltd., is the largest integrated manufacturer of fabric in the world. It has over 60% market share in suiting in India.
Under the guidance of the highly experienced faculty of FDDI, the students visited the different departments of the company like Fabric Production, Dyeing & Printing, Finishing Treatment and Packing & Warehousing during which Mr. Arun Kumar, Sales & Marketing and Mr. Ashish Sharma, HR & Admin. guided the students about the latest technology machines and the technicalities involved in fabric manufacturing.
