On 20th May 2022, an interactive session on ‘Industry Orientation’ was held at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chennai campus.
The session was organized by FDDI School of Footwear Design & Production (FSFD&P) and conducted by Mr. C. Chandra Sekar, Vice President (VP) & Mr. V. Md. Thameem Basha, HR Manager from KH Exports India Private Limited, Footwear Division.
Mr. C. Chandrasekar, VP of KH Exports India Private Limited and is a B. Tech. Leather Technologist from CLRI and has also done M. Tech. Footwear from Anna University is having more than 34 years of experience in managing operations of most of the leading leather footwear manufacturing companies. Mr. V. Md Thameem is a HR professional in the footwear industry with 15 years of experience.
During the session, they briefed the students about various functional areas of the footwear industry and elaborated on the current expectations of the industry from potential candidates including the skill sets which the industry requires from the fresher’s.
