A meeting was held on 18th September 2025 at the NIFT Kolkata Campus between Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Executive Director, FDDI Kolkata, and Dr. Brijesh Deore, Director, NIFT Kolkata to discuss collaborative research and development initiatives.
The discussion also focused on a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and research partnerships between the two institutes. Ms. Anita Ray, Head of the Fashion Design Department, FDDI, and Mrs. Basumitra Ghosh Mukherjee, Head of CoE, also attended the meeting.
