On 19th May 2022, a fashion show, 'Potpourri’ was organized by Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Kolkata campus at Eastern Zonal Cultural Committee (EZCC), Saltlake, Kolkata.
During the show, 29 graduating design collections were presented by the budding designers of the FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD) of Kolkata campus which focused on beauty, innovation and functionality.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of dignitaries like Mrs. Agnimitra Paul, a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly (WBLA) & a renowned fashion designer, Dr. V. Sivakumar, State Director, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India as ‘Chief Guests’ and Mr. Sagnik Banik, Managing Director, Ajanta Shoes (India) Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Rajiv Bhatia, Managing Director, D2 International as ‘Guests of Honor’.
The theme ‘Potpourri’, is the mixed bag of dreams, and celebrates the diversity in colour, texture, silhouettes, forms, textile, garments, ideas, creativity, and aspirations of the 2018 batch.
The student showcased their spectacular collection and also their technical skills that created a strong image in the mind of the audience.
