World Embroidery Day was celebrated at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chennai campus on 30th July 2022.
The day is marked to acknowledge and promote the craft of decorating fabric using a needle to apply thread or yarn.
It was a memorable day for the students of FDDI Chennai campus as they participated in the Monogram Hand Embroidery competition which was organized by FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD).
Besides this, a workshop was also conducted on this occasion at Loyola International Residential School for 11th & 12th standard students on 1st August 2022.
All the participants enjoyed the company of needle, fabric and thread which led to free creative thoughts and ideas.
