♦ As far Rail transport is concerned there is no Railway Station in Noida but, the nearest railway station are Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Old Delhi Railway Station, Shahdra in Delhi and Ghaziabad Railway Station in Ghaziabad.
♦ Besides this, Metro is also another alternative. After reaching Noida City Centre at Sector-32, one can take a rickshaw which takes approx. 15 minutes time as the distance is 3 KM.

This distance from the city to the FDDI Noida campus offers an ideal mix of being away from the hustle and bustle of a large city, but not being too far from the facilities available in a large city as it has virtually all facilities needed by the students, residents and faculty. The campus provides spacious, hygienic & secure hostel facility both for boys & girls separately.
The hostel rooms are located within a walking distance of the teaching departments & laboratories.
The rooms are properly ventilated and provided with fans, tube lights and necessary furniture.
It has recreation rooms, colour T.V. set, music system, facilities like clean drinking water, generator power back up, dining halls, etc.
A student-managed in-campus Mess facility - ‘Rasoi’ is available which provides healthy and hygienic vegetarian as well as non- vegetarian meals for the students at reasonable rates.
Adequate facilities are available to provide clean drinking water. In addition to the ‘Rasoi’, the campus also has a cafeteria where students can get beverages & snacks of many varieties.

It has also been awarded the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 by Bureau Veritas.
Its laboratories are accredited by PFI, Germany for safety, protective & occupational footwear for EN ISO 20344, 20345, 20346 & 20347 and Shoe and Allied Trade Research Association (SATRA), UK for fashion and casual footwear.
Students get first hand training on the various testing requirement of the products, banned and hazardous chemicals & international norms in the ITC.
Comprehensive Library at the campus fosters continuous learning & research environment.
The library useful for various programmes is equipped with international journals/magazines and titles etc.

The Visual Merchandising Lab is one of its kind in India at institutional capacity equipped with internationally acclaimed visual merchandising software (Mockshop).
This lab is also equipped with the different hardware which is being used for display whereby the students can integrate themselves with practical learning.
The Placement Cell in the campus plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful career and is crucial interface for the students between the stage of completion of academic programme of studies and entry into the suitable employment.

The Institute offers scholarship to the meritorious / poor / underprivileged student as per the guidelines of the Institute.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus. Any form of ragging, violating the civil code of conduct is a criminal offence attracting penal action. Anyone indulging in inhuman ragging is dealt with severely.
An anti-ragging committee is functional at the campus. The student(s), if found guilty of ragging is expelled from the Institute.
The programme includes creative workshops, theoretical courses, case studies plus meetings with professionals’ thus initiating students in the specificities of Fashion related careers. There are different type of courses like Bachelors degree course and Masters degree courses in different programs like.
A designer is not a pattern maker but he should know all the technical requirements of making up his garments (draping or flat cutting), footwear in order to communicate with the preparation of his collections but as knowing how to sketch models.
