Certificate distribution ceremony held at FDDI, Patna campus


Certificate distribution ceremony was held for the trainees who successfully completed the training programme conducted by Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) on making Madhubani Painting on Hard Goods items mainly using leather and other materials.

FDDI, Patna campus has started this training center for Madhubani Painting on Hard Goods items at Chauri village in the district of Madhubani, Bihar with an objective to revive, re-construct, and develop this beautiful art as a part of cottage industry.

A total of 35 trainees, who successfully completed the training programme were awarded their certificate during the ceremony held on 31st October 2021 by Mr. Pitambar Mishra, a renowned personality of Chauri village.

On this occasion, member of Gram Panchayat, dignitaries from the village Chauri, trainers of the programme and the participants of the training programme were present.

The trainees are able to make Hard Goods items like flower pot, ladies bags, mobile stand, pen stand, photo frame, card holder, home decor products, etc. mainly made up of leather and other material for commercial uses with Madhubani Painting.
