Mr. Mohammad Suhail, a student of Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Chennai campus participated in Design contest organized by Garrixon Studio, USA and won the 2nd prize.
The contest was held in the month of August 2020 and the result was declared in the month of November 2020.
The design made by Mr. Mohammad Suhail a student of School of Footwear Design & Production- 2018 batch has been selected among top two finalists for which he won the cash award.
Mr. Mohammad Suhail took inspiration from his cat and named the shoe ‘KATZE’ utilizing the vibrant orange hues and contrasting them against the black and white tones throughout the upper.
Garrixon Studio, Philadelphia is an end-to-end footwear designer and manufacturer, offering a spectrum of services including sampling and prototyping, small run manufacturing and on-site activations for individuals, brands, and organizations with a mission to create world’s greatest sneaker playground.
As per the terms and conditions of Garrixon Studio, the winner with the most pre-sales will earn 30% of the profits, while the runner up will receive 10%.
