With the objective to bring awareness among the students about costume designing, a 3 days workshop on ‘Costume Design-Creative Industry’ was held at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Patna campus from 20th to 22nd November 2021.
The workshop was organized by FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD) to provide in-depth knowledge about the process of creating costume concept designs from thumb-nailing to final presentation and practical understanding of the industry’s design requirements.
On 22nd November 2021, these students displayed their products followed by a cultural programme and fashion show with the tile ‘Rajyon Ki Palki’ on the theme of costumes from different States of India. The students walked on the ramp gracefully and showed their talents.
On the same day, an awareness programme about the various professional courses conducted by FDDI and the career opportunities available after completing these programmes was organized. More than 150 students from nearby coaching institute and teachers attended it. The awareness programme was followed by a poster making competition on the theme of ‘Azadi Ka Amratmahotsav’.
