Teacher’s Day Celebration at FDDI, Chhindwara

On 5th September 2013 (Thursday), we celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan– second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well known diplomat, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day.


A celebration also conducted in our FDDI, Chhindwara by all the Students, cultural committee & faculty’s coordination in respect of all faculties and staff with full enthusiasm and entertainment .The whole function was planned by students with coordination of faculties. The show began on a traditional note, with garlanding the portrait of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and as per the Indian culture, we always start our work with prayer to God “Ganesha”, we also started the function with “Dip Pragatya” by our dignitaries Mr.Sankoch Katre, Mr.Rajesh Parashar, Mr.Sumit, Mr.Brijesh Kaurava, Mr.Arun, Mrs.Jothipriya, Ms.Tarun kanti & Ms.Niharika in front of God of Success “Ganesha” and Goddess of knowledge “Maa Saraswati ji” with prayer. Mr.Sankoch Katre, Mr.Rajesh Parashar and Mr.Brijesh Kaurava were invited to deliver their views about teacher’s day after “Dip Pragatya”.


Before starting of the function, students delivered their speech on Teachers’ day and told the importance of Teacher’s in their life. Student planed plenty of programs like musical chair race, entertaining games etc. A musical band performance was also given by students. They sang appropriate songs for them and presented cards as token of their love and appreciation. On this occasion, cake, sweets and snacks were distributed among the students and the teachers. The greeting cards and gifts to every faculty and staff member given by students to show their love and affection towards them.




This was a year of power packed emotions and sensational performances. All those who performed for their teachers, truly meant it and found a deep reason to be there. The show was brought to excitement when the fun events began. Teachers had an appreciable amount of fun and enjoyment during the events.




In the end, the Incharge Admin, Mr.Sankoch Katre thanked all the students and wished that the students would be great future builders of our nation. It was altogether memorable evening, for both teachers and students which ensured the bond between a teacher and his students.

A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others.
