FDDI in association with Qualisys systems is organising webinar series on `Gait Analysis Application for Footwear Designing'. This workshop is from 13th October, 2020 to 15th October, 2020 (every day) from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM IST . The first day of the webinar will focus on Introduction to the Bio mechanics principals by Mr. G. SATHISH BABU (B.P.T., M.Sc. Sports Biomechanics & Kinesiology, MIAP) G. Sathish Babu is Physical Therapist and Biomechanist analyst from Chennai, with experience in data capturing and processing using instrumented 3D gait analysis and interpretation of the gait data for scientific, clinical and footwear design.

Second day will focus on Instrumentation aspects of bio mechanics by Ms.Katarina Hjältman, Qualisys B.Sc Biomechanics Katarina is member of Field Application and Support team at Qualisys along with Vincent Fohanno, Qualisys Ph.D expert on the skeleton solver at Qualisys. He works closely with both the software and application teams which led to the launch of the QTM skeleton solver with the Animation marker set in 2019 and the addition of the Sports marker set in 2020.

And on third day, the workshop application of Bio mechanics for sports footwear design by Dr. Chris Bishop PhD, Sports and orthopedic Podiatrist, Director of Biomechanics, The Biomechanics Lab, Adelaide, South Australia. All three session will be moderated by Nils Betzler, Ph.D. Dr. Nils Betzler has been at Qualisys and has more than ten years of experience with 3D biomechanical data capture, processing and presentation.
