‘9th International Yoga Day’ celebrated at FDDI campuses
‘9th International Yoga Day’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all campuses of Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) by holding Yoga sessions on 21st June, 2023.
To mark its significance and raise awareness about the many benefits of Yoga, the United Nations proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga in December 2014.
At FDDI, Noida campus, Yoga session was conducted on 21st & 22nd June 2023 by Mr. Shivaditya Purohit, Yoga Therapist and Naturopath.
FDDI, Jodhpur campus organized 3 days Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) in collaboration with Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan Ayurvedic College Jodhpur. Dr. Dhanya of Ayurvedic College along with her two trainee students conducted the session.
Mr. Pawan Kumar, employee from administration department, Chennai campus conducted the Yoga session.
At FDDI, Kolkata campus, Yoga session was conducted by two employees namely Mr. Rameshwar Roy (Maintenance Department) & Mr. Manoj Kumar Roy (Footwear Design & Production).
Led by the Isha Foundation, the Yoga session at FDDI, Banur campus was conducted through online mode.
At Fursatganj campus, Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh, Expert Ayurvedic Yog Naturopathy guide conducted the Yoga session.
Dr. Mahinder Singh Deshwal, Director of Yoga (Retd.), Government of India conducted the session at FDDI, Rohtak campus.
At FDDI, Patna campus, Ms. Shreya Suman, Faculty- Retail conducted the Yoga session.
Around 200-250 employees of across campuses attended Yoga session with a great zeal and enthusiasm.
Many queries of the employees related to health issues, anxiety & stress was also answered by the session expert. After the session employees felt more relaxed, calm & motivated towards indulging yoga & meditation in their daily routine.
