Under the Special Campaign 2.0, Officials from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India (GoI) inspected the Swachhata in Government Offices i.e. in the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) campuses from 2nd October 2022 to 31st October 2022.
The purpose of the inspection, as per the schedule was to review the existing rules and procedures during the Special Campaign 2.0 aiming at reducing compliance burden and promoting ease of living to the citizens.
The officials, at the respective campuses of FDDI inspected the Record Management, Space Management Planning and Scrap Disposal, Hostel and Mess.
During the inspection, overall cleanliness of the campuses with a special focus on space management for enhancing workplace experience was undertaken.
The officials suggested that with the aim of creating a clean India, it is necessary to bring change in our behaviour and mindset as this activity is not one time but, a continuous exercise.
The officials emphasized the digitization process and timely weeding out of files to get rid of unnecessary dumps.
They provided suggestion regarding filing, digitization, disposal of junk etc.
The officials also directed that it is the responsibility of everyone to ensure that cleanliness is maintained in the campus and all the directions are followed in letter & spirit for the betterment of society, country and the planet.
