On 20th May 2022, a fashion show, 'Fashion Grandeur-22’ was organized by Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Fursatganj campus.
During the event, the Graduating students of Fashion Design Batch 2018, Leather and Draping garments collection by students of Fashion Design Batch 2019 was showcased. Along with this, an array of footwear design collection was also displayed by the students of Footwear Design Batch 2019.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of dignitaries like Mr. Krishnendu Gupta – Director, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Dr. G.K. Chaukiyal – Head of Academics, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, Mr. Sanjiv Bahl – Advisor to V.C., Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, Dr. Bharat Shah – Director, NIFT, Rae Bareli, Mr. Sunil Doval – G.M., ITI Ltd., industry and media persons.
During this grand event, the students presented their collection in 25 sequences on themes like ‘Rivayat-e-Lucknow’, ‘Out Break Lesson’, ‘Graffiti’, ‘Montage Mosaic’ and ‘Zodiac Signs’ to name a few.
During the event, a footwear collection designed by students of Footwear Design Batch 2019 was also displayed which comprised of backdrop and fixtures created by the students itself to present the designs.
'Fashion Grandeur-22’ provided all the graduating students the opportunity to showcase their spectacular collection and also their technical skills to ‘Guests of Honor’ and industry professionals.
