Dr. Rambabu Muppidi, Design Faculty at FDDI School of Leather Goods & Accessories Design (LGAD), Hyderabad Campus, along with two co-applicants, submitted their innovative design titled "Table Top Decorative Toy" to the Indian Patent Office, Intellectual Property Building, Kolkata, for design protection.
Design Number 450244-001 (CBR No. 204566, Class 11-02) was officially registered on 4th July 2025, as published in The Patent Office Journal No. 27/2025 (Page 143, Entry 66262). The application, submitted on 4th March 2025 with legal support from Mr. Subhajit Saha, Head of Legal & IPR and Founder of Resolute 4IP, marks a creative and innovative achievement.
Besides Dr. Rambabu Muppidi, Mr. Yarlagadda Anjaneyulu, Senior Faculty, Prism Educational Society and Dr. Alok Kumar, Assist. Professor, School of Fine Arts, Amity University have made significant contributions to the research study.
This ‘Table Top Decorative Toy’ is more than a decorative toy; it is an educational and movable play companion for children, handcrafted with wooden elements to promote traditional values and modern play.
