Unity, Patriotism, and Cultural Spirit Mark 79th Independence Day at FDDI


The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour, patriotism, and traditional gaiety across all campuses of FDDI on 15th August 2025. At the FDDI Head Office in Noida, Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS – Managing Director (MD), FDDI, unfurled the Tricolour in the presence of Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary, FDDI, Ms. Manju Maan, Executive Director – Noida Campus, along with staff members, their families, and students.

In his keynote address, Mr. Sharma reflected on the profound significance of the day, remarking that Independence Day symbolizes not only the liberation of the nation but also the indomitable spirit of the people who fought relentlessly for freedom, dignity, and the right to shape their own destiny. He urged everyone to honour this legacy by fostering innovation, embracing responsibility, and ensuring sustainable growth in the industry.

The celebrations at the Noida Campus were further enriched by a vibrant cultural programme presented by students, featuring patriotic songs, classical and contemporary dances, and stage plays that portrayed the valor of soldiers and the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and security.

At the Jodhpur and Hyderabad Campuses, the occasion was marked with spirited Tiranga Pride March that witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, staff, and DGR trainees. This not only ignited a sense of patriotism but also reinforced FDDI’s commitment to nation building and the holistic development of its students.

Meanwhile, at the Banur Campus, students and faculty presented a series of heartfelt cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits paying homage to the sacrifices of freedom fighters while underlining the timeless relevance of Independence Day.

Across all campuses, faculty and staff came together with students to make the celebrations both inspiring and memorable. Highlights of the events were shared widely on FDDI’s social media platforms, spreading the message of unity and national pride.
