On 24th February 2023, FDDI, Chhindwara campus organized an industrial visit for its students at Pratibha Syntex Ltd., Pithampur, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Accompanied by their Faculty members, a group of twenty-two students of B.Des. Fashion Design from Semester IV and Semester VI of the School of Fashion Design (SFD) visited and saw the process of cloth manufacturing at Pratibha Syntex Ltd.
Pratibha Syntex Ltd., is a renowned manufacture and exporter of superior quality yarns and is known for its expertise in organic cotton based apparel exports.
Mr. Bharat Dongarwal, Manager Admin & HR along with Ms. Madhumita Singh, Officer HR interacted with the students and explained them about the detailed process of textile manufacturing starting from fiber to yarn, followed by spinning till textile manufacturing.
The visit provided an opportunity to the students to see the process chain and learn both the phases i.e. from ‘yarn to textile’ production followed by ‘textile to apparel’ production.
The students also observed the process of blending the material as per the requirement of order received at the Unit internally or from specifications received from international buyer.
