School of Footwear Design & Production, Noida campus shall be organizing a two days’ design innovation workshop from 23rd to 24th Nov 2021 on Sneaker Design - 24 hrs challenge, for final year design students. The two days’ workshop aims to introduced students to the world of sneaker culture, development and how sneaker designers use their advanced knowledge of materials, fashion trends and styles to develop, create and design sneakers for different product lines. Build their confidence in designing from global perspective. Participants in this workshop shall be exposed to different approaches, design process, footwear market, genre of footwear, workflow of working with clients/brands and ultimately what it takes to be a professional. Each approach is going to be discussed in respective sessions.
The workshop will be conducted Jointly by Mr. Vidit Singh an FDDI alumni & Ms. Rashmi Tomar, Sr. Faculty (Footwear). After completing his course from FDDI, Mr. Vidit pursued Footwear & Apparel Innovation Design at Pensole Footwear Design Academy based in Portland, Oregon, USA. He has completed 3D concepts & 2025 innovation projects with Adidas as 3D design Intern, Portland, Oregon. He is currently a Product Design student at College for Creative Studies, Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Time-frame: 180 minutes per day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
