Teachers' Day celebrated at FDDI campuses

Teacher’s Day was celebrated at all the campuses of Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) located at Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Chhindwara, Guna, Jodhpur, Ankleshwar, Banur, Patna and Hyderabad with great enthusiasm on 5th September 2019.                                                         5th September is the birthday of a great teacher, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher.

             Teachers' day is celebrated on 5th September as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society which is very important for all of us, as the teachers lay the foundation for creating enlightened citizens for the nation who could face any type of situation.

On this occasion various cultural programmes were held in respective campuses.

FDDI, Fursatganj celebrated Teacher’s Day on theme ‘Traditional Cultural Mythology of Kashi’. The decoration & dress up was done as per the ethos of the city of Varanasi. A video on the life, journey and contribution of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan to India was prepared and presented by the students.

                                                                                           The students expressed their gratitude to all the teachers of the Institute for their tireless efforts and shaping one’s lives.

                                                              The faculty and the staff of FDDI were also given mementos by the students.
