First Senate Meeting of FDDI held

Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) has been declared as an ‘Institution of National Importance’ as per FDDI Act, 2017. The Provisions of FDDI Act 2017 have come into force from 16.10.2017.

Post-INI, in accordance with Section 13 of the FDDI Act 2017, the Senate of FDDI has been constituted. The first Senate meeting of the FDDI was held at Noida on 26th July 2018.

During the meeting, the First Ordinances, the Courses offered starting the Academic Year 2018-19 and the Service Regulations of FDDI and Employee (Conduct, Discipline and Appeal) Rules of FDDI were discussed in length and passed by the Senate.
