The students of Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Noida bagged the first prize during the ‘Annual Carnival 2017’, a Grand Fashion Show competition organized by Satyam Fashion Institute on 20th December 2017.
The students of FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD) participated in the 'Fashion Show' and presented their Avante-garde collection- Metal Juxtaposed.

The collection comprised of garments that emerged from not just fabric but, various other materials like pipes, wind chimes, spoons and other metals. The silhouettes were geometrical and sleek with a monotone colour palette in silver.
Various colleges from Delhi, NCR had participated which included Colleges from Delhi University, Amity University, Satyam Fashion Institute and JD Institute of Fashion.
The music, choreography, hairstyling, makeup and accessory designing were all done by the students of Fashion Design department and all the models were also from FDDI itself.
Winners with the trophy
The eye catching collections were appreciated by one and all present during the show and also received accolade from the entire media.
The show was judged for different parameters- Choreography, Props, Ramp walk, Music, Creativity and the Garments. FDDI students scored the highest points for the differential music and stage presence.
