‘Footwear Design’ exhibition held at FDDI, Rohtak

An exhibition of ‘Footwear Design’ was held at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Rohtak on 11th & 12th October 2018.

The students of Designing Batch (Foundation Level) Semester - I displayed their design work in the Institute premises.

The themes were selected by the students after the completion of their modules – Elements of Design, Principles of Design, Colour theories, Drawing, Sketching, Shading, Scribbling, etc. 

They not only made appealing and eye catching displays, but, also create theme based stories pertaining to their displays.

 The exhibits of the display focused upon students exploring the fundamentals of ‘Footwear Design’ and being able to both express their creativity to produce work that is functional and marketable.

The work was adjudged by a distinguished Jury consisting of Mrs. Parmeshwari Hooda Deputy Education Officer (DEO). School teachers from various reputed schools of Rohtak, General Manager of Amul factory visited the exhibition halls and applauded the commendable efforts of the footwear and fashion design students.

It was an enriching experience, which revealed the fact that the students are obtaining the requisite skills to translate their creative thought in the form of a design.
