FDDI celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26th January 2026 across all its campuses with great pride, patriotic fervour, and enthusiastic participation from students and staff.
At the FDDI-HO & Noida Campus, the National Flag was unfurled by Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director (MD), FDDI, in the presence of the Executive Director Noida Campus, faculty members, employees, and students.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Vivek Sharma delivered an inspiring keynote speech highlighting the significance of the Preamble to the Constitution of India and its core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. He encouraged students to uphold constitutional values in their professional and personal lives, emphasizing that responsible citizenship, integrity, and innovation are essential for nation-building. He also reaffirmed FDDI’s commitment to contributing to India’s growth through skill development, sustainability, and design excellence.
A special highlight of the celebration at FDDI-HO & Noida Campus was the launch of FDDI’s Quarterly Magazine – “Creative Horizons”. The magazine was formally unveiled by the Managing Director, the Executive Director Noida in the presence of the dedicated editorial and creative team behind the publication, along with faculty, employees, and students. The launch marked another milestone in showcasing FDDI’s academic excellence, industry engagement, research contributions, and creative achievements.
The celebration at Noida featured a vibrant cultural segment that beautifully showcased India’s diversity and creative spirit. The Reverb Society presented a soulful patriotic musical performance that stirred national pride, while the Fitoor Society delivered a powerful ‘Nukkad Natak’ highlighting the importance of civic duties in building a responsible republic. Adding to the festive fervour, the Shoephonerz Society mesmerised the audience with an energetic folk dance performance, gracefully expressing tradition, identity, and cultural continuity through rhythm and movement.
The celebrations also recognised excellence and effort through a Prize Distribution Ceremony, with awards graciously presented by the Managing Director and Executive Director, encouraging student participation and achievement.
At other FDDI campuses, the Executive Directors unfurled the National Flag, followed by cultural programs and patriotic tributes.
The Republic Day celebrations witnessed an inspiring blend of patriotism and culture, led by enthusiastic students who presented vibrant performances through dance, music, and thoughtful presentations reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity.
