FDDI Noida Showcases Creative Excellence at Bharat Parv 2026


FDDI Noida participated in Bharat Parv 2026, the national cultural and tourism festival organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, at the historic Red Fort lawns, New Delhi. On 26th January 2026, the institute showcased the creative excellence of its students through an engaging exhibition highlighting innovative work from its design programs.

During the occasion, Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director (MD), FDDI, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern design and sustainable practices. He highlighted FDDI’s commitment to nurturing future-ready designers and strengthening India’s creative economy through innovation, skill development, and industry collaboration.

The display featured fashion garments, woven scarves, and block- and screen-printed textiles by students of the School of Fashion Design, alongside bespoke footwear prototypes, leather garments, bags, and accessories created by the School of Footwear Design & Production. The showcase reflected technical skill, contemporary aesthetics, and strong cultural sensibilities.

Visitors enthusiastically participated in interactive DIY sessions on weaving and block printing, drawing activities, and a quiz competition. Students also presented a lively ‘Nukkad Natak’and flash mob, drawing wide appreciation.

A key highlight was the fashion showcase presenting contemporary collections, including woollen wear, khadi-based designs, leather garments, and sustainable footwear made from materials such as jute.

FDDI’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and nurturing future-ready designers rooted in India’s cultural heritage.
