On 29th January 2026, the students of FDDI, Ankleshwar, accompanied by faculty members, visited Platinum Tannery, Ankleshwar as part of an industrial exposure and experiential learning initiative.
During the visit, students received detailed insights into leather processing, tanning techniques, quality control measures, and sustainable practices adopted by the tannery. Industry experts interacted with the students, offering practical perspectives on manufacturing processes and prevailing industry standards.
Guided by faculty members, the visit effectively bridged theoretical learning with industrial application. The programme concluded with an interactive session, enhancing students’ understanding of professional practices and strengthening their readiness for careers in the leather and footwear industry.
