FDDI Kolkata Campus participated in the National Fashion Show – Season 6 on 10th January 2026 at The Spring Club, Kolkata, organized by Magadh Production in association with Sakman Bhagya Foundation and won the “Best Inventor Designer Award”.
Coordinated by the Fashion Design faculty, the participation aimed to provide students with hands-on professional exposure aligned with their curriculum.
The collection, themed “Bengal Textile and Cultural Heritage,” highlighted Bengal’s traditional textiles, draping styles, and cultural identity. Students from the Foundation and Fashion Design Departments actively contributed as designers and anchor, ensuring inclusive experiential learning. The event was attended by the Executive Director and industry dignitaries.
