FDDI Patna organized a Design Competition on the theme “Local Craft” on 08th December 2025 at its campus. The competition was conducted for students of government secondary and senior secondary schools at the block level, with enthusiastic participation from Patna and nearby districts.
The event aimed to nurture creativity, innovation, and design thinking among school students and to encourage their interest in design-oriented and industry-linked education. Participants showcased innovative models and concepts in categories such as Footwear Design, Fashion Products, and Graphic Design, which were evaluated by the jury on the basis of creativity, technical skill, presentation, and innovation.
Under the Local Craft theme, Pushpa Kumari (Urehan Girls Senior Secondary School) secured the First Prize. The Second Prize was jointly awarded to Kumkum Kumari (Senior Secondary School, Naudiha) and Lalti Kumari (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya), while the Third Prize was jointly won by Srishti Singh and Shivani Kumari (Gyan Jyoti Public School).
Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Executive Director, FDDI Patna, congratulated the winners and highlighted the relevance of FDDI’s design and management programmes in the current industry landscape.
