Aarohan 2026’ Ignites the Spirit of Sports at FDDI


FDDI Chhindwara Campus successfully hosted the first-ever National Sports Meet of FDDI, ‘Aarohan 2026,’ from 24th to 27th February 2026. The inter-campus sporting event brought together enthusiastic participants from all 12 FDDI campuses, celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and determination.

More than just a tournament, ‘Aarohan 2026’ transformed the Chhindwara campus into a vibrant sporting arena where enthusiasm, teamwork, and healthy competition created an electrifying atmosphere. Officers, students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff actively participated, reflecting the strong sense of inclusivity and camaraderie across the FDDI community.

A wide range of indoor and outdoor sports competitions were organised, including Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom adding excitement and energy throughout the four-day event.

The meet commenced on 24th February 2026 with an inspiring inaugural ceremony graced by Col. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary, FDDI, and Prof. Indra Prasad Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara. The ceremony began with a disciplined and spirited march past by teams representing all campuses, setting an enthusiastic tone for the competitions.

Athletes then participated in track and field events, including sprint races and shot put, showcasing remarkable talent and determination.

The second day witnessed intense and thrilling matches in badminton, cricket, table tennis, chess, and carrom, conducted in a knockout format. Participants from every campus displayed exceptional dedication, skill, and sportsmanship, making the contests engaging for both players and spectators.

The event concluded with a grand finale and prize distribution ceremony graced by Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director (MD), FDDI, who congratulated all participants for their enthusiasm and commendable performances. He also appreciated the efforts of the organising team and encouraged the continuation of such events that foster unity, discipline, and excellence among students. Dr. Meena Rajesh, Vice Chancellor, G H Raisoni University, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. FDDI Chennai, Noida and Chhindwara campus secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position respectively in medal position.

True to its name, ‘Aarohan 2026’ – “Rise of Champions” celebrated not only athletic excellence but also strengthened bonds among FDDI campuses while creating lasting memories for all participants.
