The School of Fashion Design (FD) at FDDI, Rohtak Campus organized a 10-day intensive workshop on “AR and VR Technology in Fashion Design” from 9–20 February 2026. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with emerging digital technologies that are transforming the fashion industry and redefining design and retail experiences.
The session was conducted by Ms. Sonia Jha, Founder of Interact.edu, who shared practical insights into immersive technologies. Under her guidance, students converted garments created on CLO 3D into interactive AR experiences, developing fashion filters and virtual try-on garments for enhanced e-commerce engagement. In the VR module, students designed virtual fashion stores, creating immersive digital retail environments.
The workshop provided valuable exposure to how AR and VR are transforming fashion presentation, digital merchandising, online retail experiences, and sustainable fashion practices through virtual sampling, making it a highly enriching learning experience for the students.
