Dr. Pooja Singh, Faculty, School of Fashion Design (FD), FDDI, Chandigarh (Banur) campus, along with Ms. Sakshi Singh, student, FD 2021 Batch has been granted Copyright Registration under the Copyright Act, 1957 for their original artistic works titled “Sahej Samarpan” and “Bhil Vriksha.” Both works were officially entered in the Register of Copyrights on 29 January 2026.
These creative compositions present a harmonious blend of traditional inspiration and contemporary design interpretation, reflecting the integration of academic research with artistic expression. The registration formally acknowledges the authorship and ownership of the works, providing legal protection and safeguarding their originality.
This achievement underscores FDDI’s continued encouragement of innovation, originality, and intellectual property protection. Such recognitions reinforce the institute’s commitment to fostering creative excellence and promoting awareness of IPR within design education and research.
